It’s back to school time, which means NBI is out in full force making sure students have fashionable headwear to make them stand out amongst the crowds.
Our strategic partnerships guru Chris visited the campus and set up a small table to showcase NBI headwear styles. As people were walking by he passed out stickers/NBI info sheet and would stop and talk to those who showed interest. Chris talked to them about the brand, the DIY mentality with roots in Indy, the links to the local music scene, where our product is located (street-level independents and LIDS) and concluded by telling them to check our website for additional product.
Christ says that as a part-time student he was aware that classes were starting on Monday and knew there was a lot of activity going on at IUPUI’s campus. Most students fit our demographic and he thought it would be a good opportunity to spread some NBI love and increase brand awareness. All who checked out the product were very impressed! Most were not aware of NBI, however once they found out more they were interested to hear more. Overall, I would say we got a very positive response, all were spoke very highly of the looks and thought the brand was cool!
